Sweet Banana Flatbread
I was climbing some trees with my best friend Humphree—who happens to be a three legged spider monkey (don’t you dare judge him); and he was telling me about this recipe his wife (a White-Faced Saki Monkey—it’s a weird relationship) made up using half eaten bananas and some dried poop dust. Not really wanting to be rude, I told him I’d try it out at home. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any poop dust so I had to use boring old wheat flour. And my bananas were already mashed after I dropped them at the Running With The Bulls, but I didn’t want to be wasteful so I used them anyways. Anyways, the end result tasted amazing so I had to share it with you all. Credits go to Mrs. Humphree.
What you need2 cups whole wheat flour 1 cup mashed bananas2-3 tablespoons oil (veggie)1/3 teaspoon SaltWater How you make it-Combine mashed bananas, flour, and salt and mix until a stiff dough forms. -Add oil and kneed well. -Form small balls from the dough, dust them with flour and roll into circles with a rolling pin (or a really round smooth forehead)-Cook one side on a medium heat oiled griddle until small bubbles form, and flip. -When this side starts to change color, spread a few drops of oil and turn over again. -Apply a little more oil on the second side and cook for about 15 more seconds. -Serve with a little honey, Nutella, or—hell, you could probably dip it in marinara sauce and it’d still be delicious.
